Chief Executive Officer
Originally from Wisconsin, Michael Patino moved to Texas in 1982. A few years after graduating from Texas A&M University, he founded High Tech Flooring in 1998. He’s proud to say he’s watched the company grow six-fold ever since. Though he’s involved in every aspect of the Austin flooring business, where he always strives for exceptional client service, he admits he couldn’t do it without his wonderful staff, his loyal clients, his faith or his supportive family. He is the father of four children and has been married to his lovely wife Yolanda for 21 years. In his spare time, he enjoys coaching Youth sports and watching his kids participate in football, basketball, gymnastics, dance and music.
David Bosco has been part of the High-Tech family since January of 2010, but has been part of their extended family as a builder since the mid 90s. An Austin resident since 1983, Bosco graduated from the University of Texas in 1990 and spent several years in the Army National Guard before starting a career in the Residential Homebuilding industry. He spent nearly 20 years working with national builders such as Toll Brothers, NVR and Ryland Homes, before coming to work with his long-time friend and colleague, Mike Patino. Bosco says his business focus is a simple one, “I treat every client, supplier, installer or employee as I would want to be treated.” He also prides himself on being able to provide world-class products and services at reasonable prices. He and his wife Maurine, married since 1994, have been blessed with five children: Sydney, Trey, Ian, Brian and Scott. The Bosco family enjoys a “competitive” outdoorsy lifestyle together, where they enjoy going to football games and playing golf.
Amy grew up in the flooring business in Scottsdale, working in her father’s business where she was paid in Icee’s and snacks from Circle K until she finally demanded a paycheck at age 16. More officially in the biz since 1985, Amy’s area of expertise is with new home construction, where she hones the blueprint-reading skills her father taught her as a teenager. Though she prefers sales and design, she’s touched every aspect of the flooring business, including customer service, operations and estimating. Amy moved to Austin 10 years ago with her husband and three children and says she’s never leaving. With three kids, she watches a lot of soccer and baseball games on the weekends. She also spends time volunteering at Hospice Austin and trying to figure out how to grow a garden under the Texas sun.
Bringing 20 years experience in the Austin flooring business, Brian Hayes has been the Operations Manager at High-Tech Flooring and Design since 2007. He prides himself on the fact that doing his job well results in a happy customer. In his spare time, he raises his children, plays guitar and sings in a couple of bands, and enjoys playing baseball and basketball.
A Texan by way of Ohio, Patti earned her B.A. from the University of Texas and then began her career in real estate accounting. After 12 years at a property management company and then a follow up position with a homebuilder, her career path led her to the doors of High Tech Flooring where she says she has never been happier. She says it’s the hardest, most complex job she’s ever had but also the best job because of the learning experiences she encounters every day. On a personal level, she is also quite proud of her son Cole, a Sergeant in the US Marine Corps, who she began raising while she was in college. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and camping with her Golden Retriever, Tanner.
